Wet Masala

  • Garlic (लह्सुन)
  • Tomato(टमाटर) 

Dry Masala

  • Black Pepper(काली मिर्च)
  • Sichuan Pepper(सिचुआन काली मिर्च)
  • Red Chilies
  • Salt (मीठ)
  • Sugar (साखर)
  • Water

How to make Tomato Chutney?

step 1

Take 3 cups of water and heat it in the pan.

When water comes to boil add 3 medium-sized tomatoes and 4-5 dry red chilies into the water.

Boil tomatoes for 9-10 minutes

Strain out the water and let tomatoes and red chilies cool down

When tomatoes cooled down, take out its outer cover

step 6

Cut the tomatoes into medium-sized pieces

step 7

Add cut tomatoes into the mixer jar

Add red chilies and 2-3 garlic cloves

step 9

Put ½ teaspoon black pepper and ½ teaspoon sichuan pepper

step 10

Add 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon sugar

Grind it without adding the water

Take it out

Ready to serve

Special Note

  • Don't waste the tomato juice. Put it into the mixer jar.
  • If you want more spicy chutney, increase the quantity of red chilies

  • We can add ½ teaspoon soya sauce while blending the tomatoes
  • We can also add ½ teaspoon vinegar
  • If you like the flavor of garlic, then increase the quantity of garlic cloves.
  • Add ⅓ cup grated coconut in this chutney and blend it. It will give mouth-licking experience with south Indian dishes.
