Ingredients

Wet Masala

  • 1 cup Green Chilies (हिरवी मिरची / हरी मिरची)
  • Lemon (लिंबू )

Dry Masala

  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (हळद)
  • Salt (मीठ) to taste
Mirchi peakle ingredient

How to make?

step 1

Washed Green Chillies and dried it with cloth.

step 2

Cut chillies in the middle and make two parts of the chillies.

step 3

Take cut chillies into the pot.

step 4

Add Turmeric powder and Salt into the chillies and mix it properly.

step 5

Add lemon juice into the chillies and mix it properly.

step 6

Ready to eat.

Special Note

  • You can add half teaspoon of sugar in it.
  • You can use dark Green Chillies if you want more spicy or parrot Green Chillies which are less spicy for this Instant Pickle
  • You can Keep this mixture 2-3 hours and then you can eat so that green Chillies have soaked with Lemon juice.

  • If you want less spicy Green Chilli Pickle, you can use less spicy Green Chilli instead of dark Green Chilli.

  • Green Chilli Pickle can be served with Jowar/Bajra/Rice Bhakri accompanied with Pithale/Bharit.
  • It is a famous side dish which goes well with all food like steamed rice and plane dal.

This is a wet Pickle. It can be stored in the refrigerator for 5 - 6 days.
